Three decades of making records—and becoming more than one kind of maker.

01 / Career signal

The career began in 1996.

Music was the first studio: a place to listen, arrange, direct, solve problems, and bring people toward a finished idea. That practice moved through writing rooms, recording rooms, stages, studios, cities, and decades.

One career / multiple disciplines

  1. 01MusicianThe instrument came first.
  2. 02SongwriterShape the idea.
  3. 03ProducerHold the whole record.

02 / Career journey

Move through the years.

Not a list of dates—a sequence of rooms, relationships, and shifts in the work.

1996–2000 / Foundation

Akron / Neon Cactus

A professional career beginning in 1996 took shape inside Akron recording rooms, where musicianship became engineering, production, live-stage discipline, and the habits of finishing records.

Shout 2000 Tour

The stage-production cycle moved city by city: unloading, setup, audio and soundcheck work, teardown, coordination with local workers, loading, and travel to the next stop. The tour became a bridge from the Akron foundation toward Nashville without implying separate work for every artist on the bill.

2006–2010 / Continuing Practice

2011–2015 / Independent records / sustained practice

The next chapter stayed rooted in songs and rooms: independent releases, deep project commitments, technical leadership, and a studio practice able to carry a record from writing through the final mix.
